Music has long been regarded as a portal to revelation and truth, more so than even wisdom and philosophy. As the composer Ludwig van Beethoven stated,

“Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy.”

The effects of music and resonance have been studied since ancient times. The philosophy of “spherical music” suggests that musical harmony describes the profound connection between our world and the cosmos.

As Plato professed, “Education in music is most sovereign because more than anything else, rhythm and harmony find their way to the innermost soul and take strongest hold upon it.”

Music resonates with our soul in a way little else can. The melodies, harmonies, and rhythms reflect deeper truths about the nature of existence.

Modern science has shown that music impacts our brains and changes our consciousness. But musicians and philosophers have known this for centuries.

Beethoven, one of the most celebrated composers of all time, elevated music to soaring heights that moved people deeply. His intricate and emotional compositions revealed sublime beauty and truth. He gave musical voice to the highest ideals and aspirations of humanity.

In essence, music gives expression to truths that often lie beyond words.

It awakens our souls and gives us glimpse of the divine. This mystical, revelatory power of music is why Beethoven proclaimed it a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy!
